Dealing with new debit cards…
Years ago, I got my first debit card. It didn’t have the ability to be used as a credit card, it only worked at the bank ATM. It did have one great feature though. There was NO expiration date on the card. Years later, the bank sent me a new card. I didn’t activate it. They called a few months later to find out why and I told them, the new card has an expiration date, the old one doesn’t, so I will stick with the old one…which I did. In the end, I moved, and that regional bank isn’t in other parts of the country so I had to get a new one. Now, my bank just sent me my new card…which means I have to update all my accounts. Wishing today that we could go back to the days of cards with no expiration dates. If you are a leader in the banking industry, maybe you can make that happen…adverize it, or let me know, and I will move to your bank to stay!
